Recalling first memories has always been a strain on my grey matter, I know my first machine was a Commodore 64 but the games are just a blur without a name. It takes a couple years of mental maturing to get my brain into gear. A desire to be a pilot as a kid led my Dad to make an executive decision regarding my first console with a certain Yu Suzuki game ported to the Master System considered to be a suitable career advisor. And while that vocational dream subsided, my love for games did not.
Like many here, I find games to be so much more than an infantile pastime and to watch this new medium first hand come so far has been a pleasure in itself. NTSC-UK has always been a site dedicated to following the evolution and culture of gaming so I could think of no better place to make a contribution. Hopefully the work and comments of us all here will create a worthy footnote to increasing gaming’s positive influence.
